It is at the golf course staffs discretion to determine appropriate and inappropriate attire. Headwear such as cowboy hats, beanie caps and gag hats are not appropriate.Īny clothing item with derogatory and or degrading words or phrases, profanity of any kind is not allowed. Sandals, street shoes and boots are not permitted on most courses.īaseball-style hats or visors, for men and women, straw hats of many varieties and what are known as Ben Hogan caps also are permitted. Cut-off jeans, workout, running, swimming or basketball shorts usually are not permitted for men or women. These garments are made with a cut pleat or V-notch on the front or side to allow for motion in the golf swing and include an under short. Women also should wear long trousers, capris or dress shorts, or what are called golf skirts. Denim will be permitted as long as they are without holes and are clean. Men should wear long pants made of cotton or a polyester blend, or dress shorts with a pleated or flat front. T-shirts or tank tops usually are not permitted for men or women. This means no bathing suit tops, tube tops or spaghetti string. Women's golf tops vary greatly, with or without collars, but all adhere to a traditional sense of modesty. Traditional cotton, microfiber or polyester golf shirts modern-style golf shirts that have a turtleneck-style collar are acceptable. The golf course gate is located off Buffalo Soldier Trail at the intersection, with Wilcox Drive just east of Fort Huachuca’s Buffalo Soldier Gate, Building 15479.Ĭollared shirts required.
